Based around Bristol, The Casswells have been playing to venues in the South West for nearly two years, and have during this time produced two well received demos. Now, Vinyl Japan bring you their first, eponymously titled album. The Casswells are a four piece who are no strangers to the west country's live music scene. Indeed, guitarist Paul Towler, formerly the brains behind indie-pop supremos The Haywains, is a familiar face to Vinyl Japan, this being his fourth album for the label. These pop gems are the fruition of a band who simply love creating well crafted songs that reflect real life, songs which reviews have so far, likened to The Boo Radleys, The Go Betweens or The Beautiful South.
