Dean Garcia (Curve) returns with SPC ECO, a nu-gaze outfit whose singer is none other than Dean's daughter Rose Berlin. "SPC ECO 3-D" is their first album and features Rose's angelic vocals, heavy bass grooves, twinkling keyboards, guitar noise, and British styled electro beats. Joey Levenson (So Young) provides guitar fx, and the resulting amalgam is a colorful and shimmering shoegaze music of sugary pop goodness. The Japanese edition of the album includes three bonus tracks: two remixes plus "Silver Clouds," an exclusive track featuring Andy Bell (Ride/Oasis).
