Clairecords is incredibly overjoyed to present 'Honeysky' from the German/Japanese duo, Guitar, to the US – and worldwide, for that matter – for the first time. 'Honeysky' was first released (and available) only in Japan via the Third-Ear label. Issued in 2004, 5000 copies of each were pressed and are now completely sold out. Considered by Michael Lueckner, one-half of Guitar, to be "the most straight shoegazer-style album Guitar ever did," its tracks alternate between introspective laptop folk and full-on walls of layered guitar shoegazer bliss. Clairecords will be issuing Guitar's unreleased album 'It's Sweet to Do Nothing' in February 2009. The band are currently working on two new albums.
