"Further" unfolds like a series of psychedelic landscapes with each song a new hill on the horizon. Songs build to a plateau, hang for a moment then reach for climax. At times the result can sound like Elvin Jones jamming with Neil Halstead and David Gilmour. The opener "Daybreak" has Pink Floyd as well as Kraftwerk overtones. "Enough" sounds like Spacemen 3 with members of Tones on Tail. The album closer "First Rays" is a slow burning psych surreal ride with echoes of early Verve & Sianspheric. All tracks recorded live for a nod to early psych artists. "Further" is Glissade's fifth release and second full length.
"Atmospheric, instrumental shoegaze. Beautiful." –Wallsofnoise "Glissade creates mantras with delicate melodies that rock effortlessly. They subscribe to the Spacemen 3 sheets of sound." –The Independent "Sounds like if Primal Scream & Mogwai met at a hash bar."- Losing Today "Glissade's psychedelic ambient sound is often soft and pretty, the perfect companion for stargazing." – Go Triad
