The second album from Pacific UV is as captivatingly moody as it predecessor despite band line-up changes. It is a rather sountrack-y affair (think Sofia Coppola film), a perfect amalgamation of dusty western [Epic] soundtracks and doped up shoe-gaze reverb. I think it is a shame more people don't recognize this band as they seem to put more craft and care into their work than most other post-MBV bands who are getting their 15 minutes right now. Fans of anything Spiritualized or Creation records related should give this a listen.
