It is hard for me to believe this band was formed by a former member of Oneida. Stylistically these bands could not sound more different. This is the 3rd Oakley Hall record in just under 2 years and their first for Merge. I think we can ditch the term 'Americana' now as they are pretty much full on country. I can see them easily appealing to both the Neko Case crowd and true blue C&W fans. Environmentalists please note the packaging material for both CD & LP are made from 100% post-consumer recycled materials.
