Hoarse Frenzy is a single 40-minute track that explores both musicianship and soundspace, comparable in its totality only to the likes of Faust or other similar-minded artists who erected large scale pieces that were in scope far more than the sum of their parts. But Hoarse Frenzy is perhaps a little more brilliant than that; with first listen this is easy and accessible, not at all suggesting what is to be accomplished -- this is done cryptically, and with repeated listens the whole becomes clear.
