Corduroy Utd. made their debut in 2001 at young age (mere teens!) with the "Behind My Back" EP. Oh Eira contains 11 energetic and infectious pop songs reminiscent of Dexy's Midnight Runners, solo Morrissey, The House-martins, and a hint of 60's garage pop. Jangly indiepop thing with ba-ba-bas and trumpet, likened to The Leslies, Belle & Sebastian, and the Sarah Records roster. The Sound of Young Sweden, indeed, with a wonderful garagey vibe.
